Giving Back This Holiday Season: Sunnex Supports Idlewild Elementary’s Angel Tree

At Sunnex, we believe that strong communities are built through care, collaboration, and giving back. This holiday season, our team was proud to participate in the Angel Tree program at Idlewild Elementary School, a local Title I school, helping bring joy and essential items to students and families in our community.

Idlewild Elementary serves many families who face financial challenges, especially during the holiday season. Through the Angel Tree program, students are connected with sponsors who help provide clothing, toys, and other necessities. When the opportunity arose to get involved, our team was excited to support this meaningful cause.

A Team Effort from Start to Finish

Sunnex employees came together to sponsor multiple children, shopping for requested items and thoughtfully selecting gifts tailored to each child’s needs. What started as a list of names quickly turned into shopping carts filled with gifts — and an office full of generosity.

As items arrived, our team worked together to organize, wrap, and label each gift. The growing stack of boxes served as a powerful reminder of what can happen when people come together with a shared goal.

Delivering Holiday Cheer

The experience came full circle when our team delivered the gifts to Idlewild Elementary. Dropping off the boxes at the school was a meaningful moment — knowing these gifts would soon make their way into the hands of children and families during the holidays.
